I find my local countryside of Herefordshire, the Black Mountains and the Welsh Brecon Beacons rich in subject matter, especially the farms, rivers and mountains. I use earth colours keyed-up for emphasis and try to convey light, mood , context and weather. Actual paintings may be viewed at my studio in Hereford, where I live.
